There is more and more evidence that acute and chronic health effects can occur due to occupational exposure to over 200 hazardous drugs used commonly in healthcare settings. Steps to reduce the risk of errors and of cross contamination, particularly of hazardous drugs, must be implemented. The Chemo Bio-Wipe™ helps facilities be in compliance with USP General Chapter 800 and protects users from toxic chemicals and is specifically intended for chemotherapy waste in:

Process for clean up:

1. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

2. Place Bio-Wipe bag on spill to absorb

3. Wipe remaining spill

4. Invert the wipe, transforming the mitt into a bag

5. Spray with appropriate disinfectant

6. Wipe with dry towelette

7. Drop dry towelette and gloves inside bag and seal

8. Dispose in the appropriate waste container
